Metal Detecting

Gold Nuggets on a Coin

Metal detectors offer a fun and efficient method for finding gold and meteorites.  We run full-day metal detecting trips on privately owned claims with a documented history of producing placer and lode gold.  Our team provides you with high-quality metal detectors and helps you become familiar with the settings.  You're also welcome to bring your own detector.

Recirculating & High Banking

Using a recirculating sluice is the modern way of "panning" for gold.  We often use Gold Buddy high banker sluices, which are great for recovering placer gold.  Recirculating trips usually last the whole day and have a track record of producing excellent results.  The best places to prospect using this technique are caliche layers, old tailing piles, washes, and highly mineralized ground.

Dry Washing

Dry washing is used to acquire concentrates, which are then refined with water.  This technique is great for processing a lot of dirt in a short time. After dry washing, we run the concentrates through a sluice or pan them to separate out the gold.  Sometimes, we use a spiral wheel to process the black sand concentrates.  Vacuuming up the bedrock or top layer of caliche can also produce excellent results.

Claims for Sale or Lease

Stake your claim to a gold-rich area of Arizona.  We have a variety of unpatented claims for sale or lease on or near Rich Hill and Stanton. Several premium claims are available north of Rich Hill, on Upper Antelope Creek and south of Rich Hill in the Weaver Basin area.
